Paintless dent removal (PDR) is a method used by NO DENTS to repair minor dents and dings on vehicle body panels without conventional bodywork or repainting. We specialise tools to gently manipulate the dent from behind the panel or utilise Glue Pull Repair (GPR), where adhesive tabs are attached to the dent and pulled from the outside, restoring the panel to its original shape without damaging the paint.

Approximately 95% of dents can be repaired using this process. As long as the paint is undamaged, the metal likely can be returned to it's original position. Modern paints are highly tough and flexible, meaning that they are unaffected by the process of returning the metal to its original shape. With certain dents (for example where access to the rear of the panel is limited) it may be possible to greatly improve the damage but perhaps not quite to a 100% finish. However, you will be advised if this would be the case.

NO DENTS specialise in fixing small to medium-sized dents caused by hail, minor collisions, door dings, and car park incidents using paintless dent removal. However, the suitability of repair depends on factors such as the size, location, and depth of the dent.

Dents where the paint is damaged can be greatly improved but naturally any defects to the paint finish would still remain. Highly creased dents, dents which are too deep or ones where the metal has been stretched beyond its elastic point may not be possible, or at least not to a high standard. The time required for paintless dent removal at NO DENTS varies based on the dent's size and complexity. Minor dents can often be fixed in 45 minutes to an hour using Glue Pull Repair (GPR) or traditional PDR techniques, while larger or more intricate dents can take anywhere from 1 - 5 hours. This is much more convenient than going to a body shop and leaving your car for few days then getting it back without a factory paint finish.

The whole idea is to protect the original paint finish. Paintless dent removal is a method that preserves the original paint finish of your vehicle. Since it avoids sanding, filling, or repainting, the risk of paint damage is minimal, making it a safe and effective solution for dent repair.  

Typically, quality bodywork can cost around £200-300+ per panel. In contrast, most Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) jobs end up being a third of that cost, without sacrificing quality and in fact a much better result. Additionally, opting for PDR eliminates any paint colour-match issues, which can be a challenge for body shops. Even with the Vehicle's Paint Code, achieving a perfect match during a repair is not guaranteed. It requires considerable skill for a sprayer to tint the paint accurately to match the vehicle's original colour. However, it's essential to note that even with expert painting, the job will never be as good as a factory finish.

Dents located on sharp creases, near panel edges, or in areas with double-panel construction may not be suitable for PDR or GPR.
